I want to smoke cigars with you and talk politics

No brandy for me, I’ll pass on that. Let’s sit on the porch and smoke cigars and talk politics.

maybe in the US it’s worth talking politics. Here in Romania the only news headlines are about corruption. Very few clean politicians and they don’t have enough public exposure to attract votes and form a majority in the parliament. Our government is among the best in the last 2 decades, yet almost every television is snapping at them, because they atttempt to clean up the mess left by previous cabinets, and they must now take very unpopular measures.
That’s it, in a nutshell, the political life of Romania and I don’t feel like elaborating because it makes me sick :frowning:

I understand :scream:

Same here in Portugal, but yeah, it’s the best government we’ve had in a while now.

What country overthrew their gov without any shots fired…that was ■■■■■■■ epic…the whole gov stepped down because the people were not happy…that would never happen here…maybe the last 5 years…sometime in there…I haven’t kept up with it …

That would be my country  The military overtrew the dictatorship

Congrats I figured corruption would set in after but if its better its a good step forward…

Oh corruption did set in, it was a weird time, socialist government (still is, although much more capitalist now) and communist people. The communists did a real number on farms for example, were the most corrupt of all.
