If you’re getting visual side effects you can report it to your doctor and see what they say.
If you’re on meds it’s probably for a good reason though.

Are you on Abilify? That’s known to cause blurry vision. Maybe a med switch is in order?
I told my doctor and he stopped giving me topamax but I think it may be haldol.

I take haldol, cogentin, zoloft, and lithium or topamax (that is whichever one my mom decides to give me).

Me too. Too bad that’s not possible. I am going to try lowering my dosage of antipsychotics though.
Ok. Give it some time then, he hopefully got it right.
I’m going to ask for a change in meds the next time I see my pdoc - because I don’t like the blurred vision I get. I never used to care but now I’m interested in reading so, obviously, I want a change. I know better than to try going off meds - from past disastrous experiences.

Ditto I don’t want to be on meds don’t believe in medication. Before meds I lifted weights every day and ate good im not joking but I felt better before I ever got on meds. The only reason I got to psych ward cuz my dad said ur not staying with me i am driving u to psych ward so I had no where to go so why not psych ward every time im in there I treat it like a holiday inn. Basically meds shouldn’t be made
Why am I on meds for schizophrenia when I don’t have schizophrenia doesn’t make sense
I think there are people who need meds. I am just thinking that maybe I’m not one of them.

That’s how I feel. I wonder why I was even diagnosed. I have my ideas. But a small part of me thinks maybe I do have sza. I dunno.
That’s how I feel but if I did I’ll be given a injection I don’t want which is worse then the pills I’m taking

They put you on meds for a reason. They must have seen or heard something from you that made them think you need meds.

Topamax gave me horrible eye problems that stopped when I stopped taking it. I have no eye problems on Haldol. Try to be patient with the Topamax withdrawal before adjusting your AP.
