Blurred vision; the culprit?

I stopped risperidone on Thursday, still getting blurred vision.

So it has to be either the paliperidone depot or the lithium.

Paliperidone never caused me this before so I think maybe lithium.

Then again my body is out of whack for being detained for 3 months, so hopefully sleep and weight lifting could resolve it.

Also smoking regularly cos I enjoy it plus I know it will reduce the efficacy of the meds. And yes I hate meds.

Did you tell your p/doc about stopping meds? it is extreemely risky to stop meds like that, you risk relapse and even getting worse, you really need to speak to an optometrist about your eyes, get your eyes tested, discuss with your dr.

I can relate to it. Both Risperidone and Paliperidone gave me blurry visions.

The Risperidone might still remain in your system right after you stopped taking it.

Someone told me it was the lithium irl; idk what med it is. All I know is I’m stopping everything. I think meds are toxic; they target the symptoms and not the root cause.

Also think not enough research has been done with psychedelics and brain resets.

I was getting blurred vision on reboxetine. Are you taking an antidepressant. Which medications have you changed recently?

Just on paliperidone; ditched lithium and risperidone.

Coming of paliperidone in a couple weeks to be on nothing.

The blurred vision today went away outdoors after I smoked some tobacco. I know nicotine and tar reduced efficacy of meds or speeds up med metabolism.

Going off your medicine is the best way to end up psychotic and in a hospital

Not for me, I only get sick when I haven’t slept properly in weeks.
