But I think I’m too old to become a dj. And don’t have cash atm. Only could buy next year, but I have iPad I can try mixing on iPad for sure
My dad became a DJ at 35. He loved it. Why don’t you try it out with what you have now, and then you’ll know if you should save up to buy some better gear next year.
Did he started at 35? Was he working full time? For sure I will be playing music on iPad or pc apps. I want to play on vinyl.

I have also started Djing at home. I bought Serato software and it a lot of fun. I am still learning how the software works and how to mix.
Good luck on your musical journey

Not full time. It was just a hobby for a while, then he started doing gigs on the weekends. He took me along and taught me the equipment, and we became a team. He would do all the parts that involved talking to people, and I would maintain the equipment and do real time adjustments.
so you are DJ too @NinjaComet ?
no serato lite dont have eq
I had a mobile DJ biz up until COVID. I would still be running it if not for the fact I can’t take many more rounds of the rona - it seems to do more damage each time. My daughter is trying to decide if she wants to keep it and have the biz or sell it.
Not anymore. He died when he was 40. After that, I tried to keep doing it, but it was just depressing.
Why would you need a software EQ? Practically any board you’ll be running through has one or you can put a hardware one in the audio chain for cheap.
