Anyone have experience with art therapy? I’ve only been to it in the hospital but I loved it. It was really relaxed and there wasnt any structure. I think I’d be more structured. But I’d love to do it. It combines two of my biggest passions. Mental health and art

you can do it! maybe you can volenteer? or study social work?

My friend used to do it at the local school before she moved. The kids loved it! She’s always wanted to do it with adults.

My only experience with art therapy is doing it while hospitalized, but I really enjoyed it.
It seems like a noble profession.

I’ve always enjoyed the art therapists at the hospitals where I have stayed. It was very therapeutic even though I have no artistic abilities. It was just relaxing. I hope you can do this. That would be awesome. When my little niece was at the hospital, undergoing cancer treatment, an art therapist would come around and do artwork with her. Her face would just light up. It was beautiful to see her so happy through her dark times.
