I don’t want a fancy gaming console. I just want to play ‘frogger’ or ‘space invaders.’

EDIT: Or maybe you can find an atari for cheap at a goodwill/thrift store. That might be better, since that other one is kinda pricey.

Psst… the magic world of emulation… i have an nes and snes emulator on my phone… ive been playing mario and old rpgs… im pretty sure you can get an atari emulator for your phone… just dl the emulator and the roms of the games you want…

This is true… the on screen control…pretty much sucks… i have my ps4s controller blue toothed to my phone… so thats a huge plus. And 2 player would be impossible unless the game makes you take individual turns like mario bros…
The real plus to emulation is i dont have to pay retro gaming prices for the individual games and consoles… some of the classic rpgs are expensive…

yeah get an emulator. On a pc you get dosbox and play all the old computer games. Most have fallen into abandonware…ie there’s no licence anymore and you can play all these old titles. Really good for oldschool rpgs…megatraveller was a game…great character generator…terrible 8 bit gameplay but it’s still fun. Plenty of other titles from the past there too…and all free!
