I have Medicare. If you have Medicare or Medicaid, you don’t qualify for the coupons. I’ve tried multiple times. There’s a law against it for some crazy reason.
Not sounding like a complete git - but did you try them for at least 6 months? It took 8 before mine finally kicked in.
Try not to solely rely on the meds mate - there are other skills you can learn to manage your symptoms. Not easy, but adjusting your lifestyle can help alot.
I’m diagnosed as sza - depressive type. But in the last 2 months, I’m becoming more and more agitated. So I’ve either become sza bipolar type or it’s the Saphris. But I’m afraid to stop Saphris because for the first time in almost 10 years, since starting it, I can go to close and familiar places alone
Every little thing is setting me off. My thoughts are very negative. I can sit still though. I’m also catching myself almost shouting when I’m just having a regular conversation. This isn’t like me at all
If you’ve been on a med that causes heavy sedation and masks emotions, it can be different when you have to deal with those emotions once off the med. my suggestion is that you work with calming techniques and maybe find ways to manage the emotions. I wouldn’t get discouraged that you need to go off the saphris. It could be also the combo of meds not working for you. Try to manage your energy, and talk to your doctor.
Ok @anon55031185 . I’ll talk to my dr about it. She did say it might be the Saphris as it makes some people angry and aggressive. It’s a known side effect.
Maybe I’ll work on emotional regulation in the meantime, like doing DBT or something.
Cliche - but have you ever tried telling everyone to sod off, get your favourite food in and staying in bed in front of the telly for a couple of days? And basically chill out?
A good nights sleep sorts out most problems, for me anyway.
