I had an appointment with my pdoc today. I’m still very irritable, angry and generally aggressive and talking loud. So she wants me to stop the asenapine and double the olanzapine for 2 weeks. At the end of 2 weeks, I’ll see her and we’ll reassess what the issue might be.
I’m going to wait to double the olanzapine until tomorrow night, because it’s sedating and I need to clean my sister’s house tomorrow so I need to have enough energy.
I’m nervous about doubling my olanzapine. I’m wondering if I’ll be able to function. I currently take 10 mg, but starting tomorrow night, I’ll be taking 20 mg. But, I won’t be taking asenapine so maybe it doesn’t matter. What do I know?
I take zyprexa myself, 10 mg. I’ve been on 20 mg zyprexa. I never really considered it odd that my voices have been mad for a very long time, 30 years. Eventually things are forgotten. The zyprexa I take is in Lybalvi which you might want to Google.
