I’ve been very unlucky finding a decent pdoc

My new psychiatrist is worse than the previous doctor.
At least my last pdoc was able to write out my prescriptions correctly.
My current psychiatrist is not able to get the directions straightened out.
He wrote out on my prescription that I should take one Depakote tablet a day when in actuality I take three tablets a day!
Then he writes out that I should take two tablets a day.
I’ve tried to get in touch with him but he doesn’t respond.
I don’t know if he’s incompetent, or burned out but either way this doesn’t bode well for me.
I’m thinking of looking for a different doctor now.
I may have no choice but to pay out of pocket.
Medicare psychiatrists in my area are crap.
He also had a nasty attitude with me.

I’ve asked for a list of Medicare psychiatrists in my area and the list is short.
A lot of these doctors seem sketchy.
I don’t know maybe I should give him another chance?

I see him soon

He reduced my risperidone dose from 3mg to 2mg on day 1.
Id say that’s a bit bold but I respected his decision
So far things are good (stable)
