My in laws bought their nephew a cuban tree frog. It’s still apparently young so gender cant be determined. He asks a lot of questions. I’ve given him a box of gloves and small worms for his frog. I asked if he was using water conditioner he said his mom won’t buy it or the right kind of soil not even a water bowl.i sympathize with him so I bought him some water conditioner and a very large water bowl. I just gotta give him a bag of substrate I have three. My parents would always make my animals go without as long as they had their weed, beer , and cigarettes they were happy with that

Very nice of you to help with frog though.
Well I tried to help with his first herp pet a orange throat skink no one listened to me and it died that night. I don’t want another animal especially a frog to die because the kid’s parents wouldn’t buy the poor thing what it needs or even make sure he is taking care of it. He’s 10. 10 year olds make mistakes and get bored easily

Yeah that’s what I was saying with people treating animals as toys and not respecting them as living creatures that can suffer and depend on you. You understand that though so I’m glad that froggy has you as it’s guardian angel from afar
