i use to do 100…but now I’m prolly slower cause of my condition. I have to think a lot more of what I’m typing.

What kind of work did you used to do?
work? my last job was a medallion driver but I never did any office work…i just used a lot of comp when I was a teen. a lot of chatting and gaming time. I did some other work but never office related, I did want to be a computer programmer though, never worked out

I could only type 66 wpm if I typed the word “a”

I type faster than I talk. My fingers have more to say than my mouth.
I type 20 words per minute on a good day.

I can do 100 wpm pretty reliably, but I don’t train typing speed much, it’s just muscle memory by now.
www.typeracer.com is a multiplayer typing game. There are those who can top 200 words per minute on that site!

I took typing and clerical practice in high school so I know how to type but probably only do 30 wpm

On my phone I could probably do 15 per minute maybe. Well I write this pretty quickly.

My ex was a para legal…she’d type plus 100 with accuracy. Was impressive and I’m sure she could still do it. I still type pretty good but probably 30 a minute accurate. As you can see if you follow my posts…i make lots of mistakes and often Don’t correct them. I’m not that fussy these days!

My friend can type 150 wpm. Max is like 100ish for me.

Through high school I was pretty reliably well over 100 wpm. If I’m typing from reading I’m slower now because the meds make me read more slowly, and think more slowly, but if I’m just typing what I’m thinking I’m probably around 80-100 wpm.
I wonder how fast I type on my phone. Hmm…
