Because mother wanted a boy and I was scared of her.
Me too. I’ve never liked sports, never cared for working on vehicles, and really could care less about a lot of ‘male’ things. Turned out to be pretty good with both sewing and cooking. Doesn’t mean I’m gay, just different. Different doesn’t fit in well in elementary school. Or junior high. Or high school.

pixel, I’m actually a girl. Yes, elementary school had no sympathy. I’m sure I was the laughing stock, especially to the girls. The boys were probably flattered.
I’m actually a boy, I just had the misfortune of not being able to act like one. My cousin’s EZ Bake Oven was way cooler to me than the toy gun crap people kept giving me.
The cool thing about being an adult is that I can do whatever I damn well please now so long as I’m not breaking any laws. Anyone who has a problem with it can go ■■■■ themselves.

That’s what you (l)earn from your 12 years of school.
I wanted to be a tomboy but I didn’t make the grade.
