I tested negative for Covid, but I think they just didn’t get a good enough specimen sample when they tested me. I rode in a car for a couple of hours with a woman who subsequently got Covid, right before I got a bad cough and marked shortness of breath. When they tested me it seemed like they didn’t get a very good specimen sample. I pretty much self segregate as much as possible everywhere I go, so I shouldn’t be spreading Covid. The shortness of breath has subsided, and the cough has diminished, though I still go on a coughing jag occasionally. The shortness of breath was sudden and alarming. Things I did with no effort suddenly were leaving bent double and gasping for air. That has substantially gone away. I got the first shot of the vaccination, so that should diminish my spreading Covid too.
