People who don’t have sz envy us because most talented people in this world had our illness It is a ilness of geniuses. There are lots of haters out there.

John Forbes Nash jr brilliant guy had schizophrenia.
I don’t think anyone envies me except for my in laws because I don’t work and to them I do nothing all day. according to my in laws I don’t deserve the ssi for my illness because they said there is nothing wrong with me. they also said with me being on so many meds that I shouldn’t still be having symptoms but they envy stupid stuff anyway

The vast majority of schizos arent geniuses. In fact, the majority are obese smokers who are unemployed.
There is major stigma with sz. I dont think anyone envys us.

Not many geniuses in any of the support groups I ever attended. Over-medicated, drooling lumps, sure. I was one of them at one point.

No “regular” or “normal” person knows what we really go through on a day-to-day basis. If they knew the truth and the facts they would not envy us.

I must say I’m pretty successful for someone with schizophrenia I’m in grad school. Not everyone with schizophrenia is this way but there are several people with schizophrenia that have been successful.
I think they want our problems to be like theirs and they want that sweet subsistence cash. Naturally their problems are so much worse than ours.
Lol, I don’t what point each of us trying to make or what side each of us we are on, lol.
I couldn’t go through the whole list but from what I gather, the most famous schizophrenics were murderers. It seems as though most of the musicians on the list were in minor bands that were not really stars.
But apparently, John Nash and a few others who reached his level (in modern times) were the exception rather then the rule.

That’s because people hate others who have sz and they will never recognize their success. And what is success anyway?
The only one I can think of in Ellen Sacs ( i think thats her name). Shes a law professor at ucla and went to oxford on a special scholarship. Very successful.
She had a leg up though. She was already about to graduate Yale Law school.when she got sick. She ended up finishimg and still had a degree from probably the best law school in the country.
Other than her and nash, I dont know of any

Success usually isnt associated with the life of a typical sz. Normally szs are overweight, smokers, unemployed, and single. A very high percentage are homeless.
Its not your standard definition of success. In fact its the exact opposite.
