I think my pain is making me

Grumpy. I’m never short with people but I’m feeling ornery. I’m not yelling at anyone but still. Things have been irritating me more lately. Not sure why. I’m thinking maybe the pain in my foot and ankle from the fractures???

Yeah, it could be your ankle. How’s you sleep? I get cranky when my sleep messes with me,

I’ve been very fatigued and sleeping a lot actually. But I think that’s from my autoimmune disease @Speedy . Although, my husband says my breathing isn’t good at night so there’s a chance I have sleep apnea. I’m 70 pounds (31.75 kg) overweight so there’s a very strong possibility for that.

I just recently got my CPAP device. I have sleep apnea as well. It’s definitely that. Are you receiving any treatment for it? I recommend getting a mouthpiece. The CPAP is hard to get used to.

@Speedy I’ve never been tested for it so I’m not being treated. I just know my husband says I don’t breathe well. He says my breath is quick and shallow

You should get tested for it. Having apnea is no joke.

Yeah. I’m hoping to lose weight and not need it. I plan to get back to a low calorie diet for the new year. If I lose weight I won’t need a cpap machine

I’m thinking of going on the intermittent fasting diet.

Do you run to the bathroom in order to pee many times a night? That’s a symptom of sleep apnea!

I have a neurogenic bladder much means my brain doesn’t send signals to my bladder. I have no sensation of having to pee. I have to catheterize myself several times per day.

But for you, that must really suck!

As I said I just got the CPAP machine. It’s been really hard to get used to it. I rip it off my face when I’m sleeping. I used to have a mouthpiece but it doesn’t fit my jaw anymore.

Having sleep apnea sucks. It makes me irritated, tired etc.

That sounds painful???

I have gotten used to catheterizing myself. It used to hurt but not as much anymore.

My husband gave up on his cpap machine. He always ripped his off too after constantly having nightmares that he was drowning
