I think my dog had half of my mental illness

I believe my dog had some of my same symptoms. I think she was a dog schizoid/ autist. She never was comfortable around others no matter how many years she was with them and would never play or interact with other dogs. She also was very unemotional, she never played with toys or ran around yard. Her eye stare also looks autistic. I think that’s why me and her bonded so well.

My parents had a cat they thought was autistic but who knows

I’m sure brain areas of animals can overgrow during their gestation period so I’m sure autism is possible in animals. Also I’m sure dopamine levels can be too high in animals meaning schizophrenia is possible

Schizo is caused by high dopamine??? I have a lot to learns

Well the positive symptoms are caused by excessive dopamine transmission in a specific brain area and the negative symptoms are caused by under transmission in another brain area. The dopamine imbalances are caused by brain inflammation I believe?

I heard the other day about someone’s cat having Seasonal Affective Disorder. So sad thinking about a depressed animal. They’re too pure for that ■■■■■■■■.

I had a cat who was mentally challenged once.

I had a cat that would climb up doorframes and pounce on people’s heads. It also loved canned mushrooms. It had a very wild look in his eyes.
