My negatives have been bad for about 4 days. Anyway had my injection at 12:30pm. Is 9pm now and I feel great.
My depot is a typical called depixol. I think I find this to be quite activating. I liken it to some folks experience with abilify.
A lot of folks think the APs mostly make the negatives worse but I don’t find this with depixol. In fact I am just remembering when I came off the depixol before starting clozapine. I had the worst deficits of my life. Interesting.
Problem is this two weekly depot leaves me bad at the end of that period. I see three solutions:
- Increase the dose of depixol
- Change to weekly injections
- Try the oral form
I am leaning towards number 3

When I started taking Geodon, my flat affect completely disappeared and my emotions came back in full force.

Mind I ask what you were on before Geodon?Do you take sth else beside?
Risperidone. I also take Amitriptyline, but that’s to treat my migraines.

I think my oral invega helps with negative symptoms too actually.
Recently I’ve been motivated to exercise. This is a huge step up for me.

Hey @minnii. Yeah you are right. Haven’t been myself of late. Not sure why - maybe too much isolation. Just want to get back to where I was two months ago.
I get that, I get some restlessness sometimes too. I think it comes from the feeling of our heads not being right and wanting to set them right, you know? Once I accept my disorders for the thousanth time, things usually chill a bit.

I think I have got to accept there will sometimes be unpleasant times, even on meds. I always strive for perfection when really I should be looking for progress.
