I think I've become neurotic

From Google

Neuroticism is defined by a propensity toward anxiety, negativity, and self-doubt. It is often experienced by constantly rehashing worst–case scenarios in your head, and can be linked to a high level of guilt, worry, fear, and depression.

I hate self diagnosing but it seems to fit. I’ll have to Google coping mechanisms now I guess.

I don’t like playing doctor Google.

Can’t you discuss your concerns with a health professional or pdoc?

Self-help therapy books are a great way of building positive habits that push back against catastrophizing and other negative thinking.

I’m sorry you’re feeling this way. It’s not good to self diagnose, but it never hurts to be aware of how you’re feeling and to seek help when you need it.

Looks like I’m also neurotic or maybe I’m just schizophrenic and anxious because of it
