I read in a very reputable magazine, I think it might have been āTimeā that theyāre able to manipulate the process that causes cells to age and die. I donāt know how advanced this technology is. Weāve already extended life pretty far. I remember seeing a baby on the cover of National Geographic, and it said under the baby, āThis baby will live to be 120.ā
no matter what they modify it will end up screwing something else. bottom line : death cant be prevented
I donāt believe any of the age-prevention ātechnologiesā will be possible. There are grand hopes in the scientific realm of things, but they are mostly delusions themselves.
The eldest living person died at 122 and the oldest recorded persons of all-time gradually died after turning 110.
I used to think Iād live to see 100, but now I think Iām lucky if I make it past my 50ās. I aged a lot in my mid-20ās. I donāt really care anymore. Thereās nothing valuable in this life left to experience anyways. Dreams are always better than reality, at least in my case; though Iād still love to be able to live to see 80 or 90 years old, I think my brain is too damaged to make it that far.
I look forward to growing older, Iām 53 and I used to believe while ill that I would have to live 2,000 years trapped in a laser on a DVD player to deliver Satan to the lake of fire on a space ship Jesus designed. It was a nightmare thinking I would have to live that long.
I dont feel a day over 50 (I am 40)
I had a delusion that people were only dormant and that everyone could be raised from the dead if you hithered to Godās will
400 years?
Not for me,
Iām a creature of comfort, and when I finally get comfortable, I donāt want to change.
I envy youā¦I get that way sometimes.
