wasn’t going to. I was feeling a little grinchy, but I’ve had a change of heart. mom left a little artificial Christmas tree in my garden shed so will probably put that one up. or there is a bigger one in the barn with lights on it I might put up instead.
now that thanksgiving is over I guess I can start getting into the Christmas spirit. I still have to spend another $200 dollars on gifts, going to get mom and dad a gift certificate to a steakhouse for $100 dollars and will probably get my niece and nephew who live in Colorado each a toy, so planning on $50 each for those two. we may be going out there this Christmas depending on the weather. I spent quite a bit this year. but feel good about it. I will probably wait til I get paid on the 3rd before I buy anything else. did the rest of my Christmas shopping back in October.
I gave my brother’s wife, who is in town, my gift for my brother. she is going to give it to him for me. hope I hear from him sometime, we rarely talk. we exchanged emails once, and he has my email but rarely sends anything.
but no Christmas music, Christmas music drives me crazy. haha.
You would hate my guts, I sing everything I’m doing to the tune of Christmas songs all year long. Ha! People think I’m insane. “we wish you a merry dishwashing” lol
haha. when my mom turns on the Christmas music I usually leave and come back home unless it’s like dec. 20th or later. she knows how to get rid of me, either micheal buble music, Christmas music, or she plays her ukulele.
My daughter got mad at me for singing a Christmas song before Thanksgiving a couple of days ago. Hahaha- now she can’t say a darned thing since Thanksgiving is over, and the Christmas season is officially here.
