Abilify worked the best for me, but I got side effects so I couldn’t take the right dose. The reason why, is abiliby made me figure out that I was delusional with out having a realization. I still take 7.5 mg of Abilify but it did not make me realize that I was delusional. I still think it works a little bit, because I think 7.5 is just enough to effect me.
I think Clozapine is one of the best, because I think it is a powerful drug…because of the powerful side effects.

Abilify is mediocre in terms of efficacy but has good side effects profile.
While clozapine is extremely effective for sz but has bad side effects profile.

Clozapine is a last resort for when all else isn’t as effective. I found Abilify gave me the least side effects, never took clozapine
So according to what you said it is good to take both at the same time…because they are the opposites. I take both.
Yes abilify and clozapine is a good combo. I take clozapine and low dose risperidone. I’m thinking about adding abilify soon to reduce prolactin but last time i tried abilify, i couldnt tolerate it. Will try it one more time since i made some changes to clozapine dose

Dont worry clozapine at low doses is good. But at extemely high doses it becomes bad
Abilify was bad for me but clozapine is working pretty good

when I was in partial hospital my doctor was gonna put me on clozapine if Vraylar didn’t stop my psychosis. He was talking to me and he said that Abilify + Clozapine was a combination with a lot of good research behind it, he also mentioned Haldol + Clozapine and Risperdal + Clozapine.

Are you going to take less Abilify with the dosage this time? Then you might handle it.
I dont know, my pdoc will suggest its dosage. Last time i tried abilify, it worsened my psychosis
When i was hospitalize 7 years ago in psych hospital, they were giving me olanzapine and abilify at the time. I have taken abilify for 1 year at 10mg dose. 10mg didnt work for paranoia. but 15mg made me sleep all day. So during that time pdoc decided to put me on clozapine, life is better ever since.

I’ve taken Aripiprazole, but it didn’t make any difference to me. My psychotic symptoms persisted. Olanzapine and Quetiapine were much the same. I take Ziprasidone and Clozapine. It is a combination that has worked well for me.

Clozaril has been a lifeline for me, i have been on it for the last ten years, i take 550mg every night!

I actually take clozapine as a prn. 50mg if I can’t sleep because of the voices. I take it for its sedative properties and not antipsychotic. As an ap I take Invega.

yea i take the risperdal and clozapine combo and i can say it’s working very well for me. I don’t know about abilify though, never used that.
