I had that with Nozinan.

It was worth it for a while to get a sleep pattern back again

How long after you woke up did it take to come to?

You ned to get adjusted to Mirzapine. If you stay on it for just two weeks you’ll feel much better.

Wow, that’s not good. I’ve been the same way with Trilafon. In the process now of cutting back from the large dose I had been on, to find what still works but doesnt make me sleep 16 hours a day.

Dont be afraid to ask for something else if you try it again and it does the same thing. Being this hung over sucks as bad as the insomnia, I think. I can’t function like this either, and all I’m trying to do is stay awake in the house.

If it affects your devoted gym sessions, I’d say that’s time to ask for something else. Good luck. I know it’s frustrating.

Oh, wow yes mirtazapine is a sedating drug. When I first was on it it knocked me out too. Now on a higher dose (30mg) and it doesn’t have that effect as much.

Good luck in adjusting to it @LilyoftheValley !

I agree. I’m going to take it a few more times to see if I adjust. If not, I’ll ask for something else

Thanks @Hadeda 15

If it works but you feel groggy maybe you can just take less?? Also you will build tolerance over time

Yes. Last night I took half a pill. I’m still stoned today. I’m going to try to be calm and patient.

When I started mirtazapine I was on 7,5mg and it knocked me out.

Now a few months later im on 30mg and I barely notice the sedating effect

You will adapt
