Tonight I am starting mirtazapine also known as remeron. The dose is 7.5mg. Would like to know experiences and thoughts.
As far as I remember it’s an antidepressant. I took it for a short while 5 years ago. Didn’t help with my negative symptoms.

15mg is the lowest dose for depression so hopefully your dose will get upped. I was on 30mg for a while and it was ok

made me very very sleepy but that was the point, I had bad insomnia

Im on it take it on evenings Also 7.5 mg.
It makes me a little drowsy but no bigger impact.
Expect weight gain.

I was also prescribed 7.5mg a few years ago. It was prescribed to help me sleep. I eventually decided to stop taking it. I didn’t feel like it really helped me.

Yeah I take it as that dose. I sleep good. Only bad thing is feeling groggy for a day or so. I guess it’s just adjustment.
