I see them again

I’m seeing people standing in my living room. At times they’re not there. But I still see them. Evey time I mention seeing things my pdoc asks if I’m having headaches or if I have a UTi. It’s not that. I’ve seen them since I was little. It’s part of my hallucinations. I hide this from my pdoc, because he doesn’t believe I’m seeing things. He only takes the voices and anxiety seriously. It doesn’t change the fact that I see them again. I have no headaches, nor UTi. They just stand there, watching me.

I sometimes see ppl shadows especially at night. I got used to them. It was more lifelike, severe and frequent when I was unmedicated. I had tactlile, gustatory and olfactory hallucinations.

I’m sorry to hear that. That does sound disturbing. I know cos I once had the strongest feeling that someone was standing right behind me in my house in the middle of the night and I was scared.

If it makes you feel any better, just know that as real as they feel, they are not actually there. It is your mind creating them. Not the actual outside world.

Feel better

Thank you @anon90843118 @Aziz I will just ignore them I guess. Wish me luck.

Maybe your psychiatrist would take your hallucinations seriously too?

Idk what they mean tbh. Do they scare you.

If I had those I personally would see what they want from me, if anything. But that is probably generally not encouraged on here BTW.

I’m sorry you’re having this trouble. I’m curious, do you see detail, or is like a shadow? I see dark figures sometimes, well I used to. It’s been a long time since I’ve seen anything, but I was curious if it’s realistic or obvious that it’s a hallucination.

They’re outlined, like if you could see an outline of an invisible person.

I wonder if our brains are dreaming? Like when you dream you sometimes see people and they’re shadows or invisible? Kind of like day dreaming.

Yea.
I feel like our dreaming department is somehow connected to our hallucination department of our brain…

I feel like the bizareness that dreams can have sometimes is similar to the bizareness of voices and hallucinations.
