Lots of shops get very small stock at a time. Scalpers are buying them up and selling them for high prices. It’s basically luck to find one right now, they’re rare.
I don’t remember the PS4 ever being this hard to find.
It will come by second week of April. Even I am waiting eagerly.

No games for ps5. It’s had 2 games since launch…godfall and demon souls.
It’s been the worst launch I’ve ever seen. Mine has been sat collecting dust. Resident evil village comes out in May though.
It’s tempting to buy from scalpers. But if I do, I’ll kind of feel like an idiot. (if the price is too high ofc)
People who buy from scalpers are mostly either careless with their money or amateur gamers who think getting the latest most popular console is all there is to gaming.
I have a PS4 and do want a PS5 eventually but it’s a complete waste to spend my money on a scalper PS5. PS games are overpriced anyway so you’re basically wasting your money in order to not have to wait to waste more money later on.
There’s always going to be better purchases than a temporarily way overpriced console.

I game on PC 4K, have a 2080 Ti but even for pc there is scalpers now sadly.
I had to wait about three weeks around New Year’s for a 3060 Ti and Ryzen 5600x. And it wasn’t overpriced. So it’s not too bad.

Here some ppl are finding stock from other countries like europe.
Locally to avoid import tax.

What games do you play?
I mostly play CoD and AC but have all these installed CoD, AC, NFS Heat, Cyberpunk, CSGO, CS Source, Fifa, RDR2, Quake Champions, Tomb Raider, Hitman, GTA V, MK11, BFV, NBA, YuGiOh. I think others too.

I only play one game at a time. And mostly RPGs and MMOs. Right now I’m playing Black Desert Online. Before that it was Divinity Original Sin II. And before that I played a string of games shortly.
I played Assassin’s Creed Odyssey for quite some time last year. It’s a great game. Definitely going to buy AC Valhalla sometime. But before that I hope to play New World. It’s an upcoming MMO by Amazon. I hope it lives up to the hype.
I’ve been playing BDO for like 10 hours a day the last three weeks. I had it on PS4 but now I’m addicted to it on PC.

I played all ACs including Valhalla. Loved em all. I got Valhalla for free with my AMD 3700X purchase.
