I non stop think about war and I am worried

I live close to Russia. It’s one of my closest neighbours.

I fear war. I know I shouldn’t spread this fear… but hell I can’t help myself. I think about war between Russia and Ukraine, and about Vladimir’s Putin’s personality, intentions everyday.
There’s also a very small possibility leaving my country if the war starts (because of our roads)

I am not being political here,
I simply say I fear war as hell. As Putin always says “Lithuania, Latvia or Estonia, or even Poland could be next”.

Hopefully things will come to a head with Ukraine and the EU and Russia can get along better.

I’m sorry you live in fear

Somehow people in my country get used to living in fear :frowning: It’s sad that these things happens because of one dictator

It would definitely be stressful to be the neighbour of such an aggressive nation. I feel badly for you.

Try not to worry. The chance of Russia intentionally drawing Nato into the war is slim. They seem to have enough trouble as it is.

I have an upcoming talk online by the National Psychological Association of Ukraine, I’m hoping that people will see the distress this is having on people and start thinking of a solution.

Just Lithuania’s news are mostly about war. No matter how hard you try to think something else, you can’t if your turn on a aTV.
I believe the reason this happens is because we’re close neighbours…

:heart:hugs

I also think similarly… Putin didn’t managed to win this war. And probably won’t win.
just the more I think about war, the more scared I feel. Like, I still believe he is a crazy guy and I believe he could use a nuclear bomb.

And overall it’s very f u c k e d up that these things, like wars happens on 21th century

Putin doesn’t want to start another war because he is losing billions in Ukraine.

It’s hard to believe that one person can have so much power or influence over such large events or over the lives of so many people. It’s a crazy endeavor.

Probably.

Just on tv we hear from time to time that if Ukraine loses - we’re next. Or some other neighbour.

And the war ending is quite unknown yet. Maybe I am being a bit too paranoid about the thing :frowning:

Overall I need to start reading less books about wars. Probably need to read some more basic stuff  because it’s partially my fault on being too much focused on war.

The only people left are nato countries. If that ever happened it’d be a massive mobilization.

Yup… even China supports Russia. Not talking about North Korea - which situation is sadder than anyone’s else’s. Poor people…

Some European countries sadly ALSO in some way support Russia and Putin’s decisions.

Things are crazy.

I know of Belarus maybe supporting Putin and then China. I guess it just depends on which governments are in power. Idk much about the details. I’m gonna read up on some recent Ukraine stuff. I don’t come across a lot of information from the stuff I watch in the states. I do know some people here also support Putin.

Hi folks, this is getting very political. Can we steer it back towards support for @anon8411913? I would prefer not to have to close this. Thanks.

It’s partially my fault… I started becoming more political, sorry  I went too much into details.

Me too. I hope for the best bringmecoffee.

Yeah ive read a few war history books. Mostly about the events of ww2. Scary stuff. I hope you find some time to keep your mind off the current war. Maybe try to be more present in the now. Ask yourself ‘is it happening here, right now?’ And if not, know that you are safe and relax.
