I never discussed voices with pdoc

not sure what there is to say about it. the first doctor who diagnosed me discussed hearing voices but I wasn’t experiencing them at that point. the next two or three doctors never even asked about or mentioned hearing voices. ive never discussed the voices with anyone not even my therapist… just on here I’ve mentioned them a couple times.

You should definitely mention them to your doctor.

im a little hesitant to mention them. im afraid ill get put on something that requires blood work. for the most part the voices are under control with the Invega and im finally started to tolerate it with fewer side effects.

They can’t put you on clozapine without your permission. Id mention the voices.

Tell your doctor @Lifer.
It’s for the best.

Well maybe that’s a good thing I don’t generally generally like to discuss hearing voices if you’re concerned about it maybe you should bring it up to one of your doctors

that’s the thing it doesn’t concern me so I never really brought it up. I like hearing voices sometimes, especially when im lonely. the only thing that sucks about it is losing your sense of privacy.

Well if you bring it up they’re probably going to want to adjust your meds

I’ve never discussed voices with my pdoc either. If I had a lot and they were bothering me for a long time I would say something. But I don’t have demonic, scary voices telling me to do bad things. I have a few extra people living in my head. The meds have me where I rarely get anything from them and when I do It’s usually telepathic. I just know what they’re thinking more that actually hearing them anymore. I guess that’s because of the meds.
