I have a little monthly planner that I write all my bills down so I can see at a glance what is due and when. Works pretty great!

When I became unemployed a while back it did help to see everything I was paying for so I knew what I could save by cutting back

I will chime in my 2 pence, and say @Joker s method is a good idea. Personally im crap at budgeting - hence the sister. But im sure if you are sensible - you will manage it.
Just stay away from Amazon at 2am in the morning, when your mouse clicking and tired lol.

I bought six packages of bologna at 3 am one time for the next day order. Gotta stop making grocery lists in the middle of the night. My family thinks I’ve lost it. Heh heh

@Hanna_Foxx Don’t feel too bad about your internet and phone bill. My internet is $79, and my phone is $417. I have four phones, two smart watches, and three tablets all with their own lines. They are all needed for one reason or another, but man does it add up! I don’t know if you are good on the computer, but what’s helped me really see my budget is Excel. I have a file that contains my budget plans for the next few months, my current debits and credit on another sheet, and on a third sheet, my long-term budget plans (like what will change when I pay off my car). It’s super helpful and easy to adjust, especially since everything is right there altogether, and I don’t have to purchase a planner to start all over each year.

OMG @sweetpotatopie! I’m not supposed to go shopping after a certain time for this very reason. I hope you all enjoyed the bologna! Too funny.

Fortunately we have five kids and we don’t waste food but it was a lot of bologna to get through for a while.
