Antipsychotic medication(used for schizophrenia) is not a good solution to my mind.
It may relieve certain symptoms to a certain degree.
And it may have severe side effects, like sapping your energy, raising your pulse, making you fat,
disrupting your blood lipids etc.
This is what I know of schizophrenia medications AKA antipsychotics .
Perhaps OCD medications are more helpful and less harmful, I know more about schizophrenia specifically
because I have schizophrenia(remember that this is indeed a schizophrenia forum)

From internet I would Google OCD and tourette’s, they will give a list of symptoms and treatment also I would talk to my pdoc.
Start on the minimum dose of an antipsychotic, and raise it slowly with the psychiatrist’s guidance until you are comfortable. Don’t start on a high dose, because if that works, he will be resistant to lowering the dose if you have unbearable side effects like too much sedation, twitching, heart palpitations and / or twitching.
