I messed up my meds for 3 days

My mother told me to take back Latuda on my own bcz I was able to work at her office whenever I wanted when I was on Latuda. My Dr doesn’t want to change my meds. I didn’t taper or anything, just stopped Risperdal and took Latuda.

It gave me severe headaches, insomnia and aggressivity for 3 days. Now I am back on Risperdal, I took 4mg yesterday, the 3 symptoms reduced but still there. I also hear a voice tell me don’t be aggressive which is making me even more aggressive. I just took an extra 1mg Risperdal, its better.

There is no apt earlier than mine, 30 July, I will ask for 5 or 6mg Risperdal.

I smoke a joint every like 3 months. I hope for the same.

i dont think anything is permanent. the brain is adaptable. the brain plasticity.

You have to taper meds or you’ll have these problems

I missed a dose of Latuda and it made me scared until I realized I was feeling so off because of missing a dose. I appreciate what you’re going through, and I want you to know, that it will be alright, you will feel bad but just muscle through, and if you need emergency help claim it.

Good news, 4mg is enough today only slight pain in the middle of the brain but no more positive symptoms like yesterday. The 4 mg needed 3 days to fully rework. No need for higher than 4mg Risperdal.

Yesterday I was paranoid of my friends and didn’t answer their calls. Today we spoke videochat and played Call of Duty online.
