I went to the psychiatrist this morning and found out I may need to pay $150 a month for medication when I was getting it for free earlier.
I’m scared I’ll be taken off my meds……

I went off a med when I couldn’t afford it anymore. But, I was put on a different cheaper med.

Surely Hdol, Zyprexa or Risperidone aren’t that expensive
I heard invega is the cheapest. But I would avoid invega. Drugs are free in Canada

Hah. No. I had to argue with two different health plans to get a very expensive heart medication covered.

It’s quite unfair that you haven’t gotten public health care in your country cause nothing is worse than swapping antipsychotics. After all you don’t know if you are bought or sold to psychosis. I live en one of the wealthiest regions in the world namely Scandinavia where you can get cariziprazine or Latuda for a few cents per months when you are on disability.
I’m the exception ftom the rule because I’ve saved and invested in the bond and the stock market with huge succes and therefore I’ve to pay meds from my own pocket.

Well I’m not sure how it works but antipsychotics are covered if your on disability in Alberta at least I know that lol. Damn.
