Along with this I pace a lot , find it difficult to concentrate at work for long periods, and spend a lot of my energy on hobbies.
Yeah sounds like hypomania to me too.
Can you call your doctor?
You don’t want it to get out of hand
I don’t think it will. It will just go away and I’ll lose interest. It happens quite frequently.
And you are not on a mood stabilizer right?
Yes I’m not but they said that abilify acts as one. Still I might contact them if it causes financial issues or disruptions. I don’t think others notice aside from my mum and partner. I’m usually not this active but I’m also not appearing way out of hand.
Ok yeah as long as you and your loved ones are keeping an eye on it, you should be fine.
Good luck @anon25873142
We schizophrenics see only symptoms
where there are normal behaviours.
When we are happy, we say we are hypomanic/manic.
Let’s not call everything an illness
well I just wanted to say “congratulations” on your newly published coloring book…I knew you would be successful.
Yes, sounds like hypomania.
@anon25873142, Or it could be that manic depressive people in general lean towards the creative side. I myself, for example, am a composer, poet, lesbian erotica, and short story writer (horror), and student pianist.
Doesn’t help that pdocs do that too.
If I can just figure it out so I can be on the correct treatment plan. but Your right otherwise it doesn’t matter.
It may be, it may not I made a lot of comics off meds and had many ideas, now on meds I have barely made one short comic since 2020. I also did lot of drawings devil’s lettuce kind of helped on that but f’ded me up later.
