I’m so sad. My former dog

Who I gave to a dog rehab trainer due to biting both adults and children passed away this afternoon.

He was sweet most of the time but would randomly bite.

He was in terrible shape when we found him on the streets.

No one was looking for him so we kept him.

I kept in touch with the trainer the whole time she had him.

He had GI lymphoma

She got him chemo but he died anyway. :frowning:

I’m so sad.

Sorry to hear that @LilyoftheValley :purple_heart: I hear all dogs go to heaven :pray: pup may have been confused but it had a hard life. I think you made the right decisions. He’s a lucky pup to have had such a great mama

Many people wanted him put down for biting

I searched high and low for a better solution and found a woman who rehabs Lhasa Apsos who bite.

The really sad part was he was finally really well rehabilitated when the cancer struck :frowning:

I’m sorry about your dog @LilyoftheValley. My stepmom had a dog who was a biter and he had to be put down last year because he was full of cancer. It’s hard losing pets.

Im sorry to hear that pets are not “like family” they ARE family it hurts and it sucks

I’m so sorry.

You gave that dog an amazing life he wouldn’t have had without you.

You took care of him.

Even in the end, you were selflessness enough to give him to someone who may be able to care for him better.

You did right for him in everyway.

I know it’s so difficult.
