I listen to metal, a lot of energy in some of that, though maybe you’re talking about something different.

Which Mushroomhead video? That’s my favorite band; you find them triggering?

I like indie and alternative. When I was a preteen I listened to classic rock like queen etc because the older guys in my boy scout troop did. Now I like something a bit more emotional with a bit less machismo. Something intricate and contemplative. You can be energetic and emotionally complex at the same time.

Did it also have women with ball gags in their mouths? “Out of My Mind.” Not a bad song, but yeah I could see how the video could be triggering.

@freakonaleash yes that was the song…every video I tried to share of Mushroomhead had gore in it…I will now stay only on Spotify when I listen to them…they are indeed a trippy band.

This one’s a classic, from the early 2000s, no gore in it whatsoever . It’s the song/video that got me listening to them. They play it at every concert.

man, was that cool…thank you @freakonaleash I didn’t realized they had been a band for that long…good stuff bro.

Yeah, they actually formed in 1993, though I didn’t hear of them until they released that single in 2001, shortly after getting signed to a label. Half the guys in the band now were not in the band in 2001, though.

I have really been waiting a long time to find a band that leaves my mind a clean slate to make memories to. I don’t want my old memories of music I listen to…thank you so much. I listen to Mushroomhead whenever Angie goes to work…she’s never heard them…I know she’d balk…haha…so they are my alone time music every day. I want to buy you a steak dinner !!

I got me some Aerosmith CD’s in the car. The good stuff, i.e. the old stuff.

Beatles of course too. Old Bruce Springsteen. I gave away my Montrose CD but that was as high energy as they come.
