I really feel ya on this one. I love bees. I’m allergic to yellow jackets. Man do I swell up, one of these days I’m gonna wind up in the ER for a sting, with my throat swelling up I just know it. And those things nest right outside my back door for some reason. Oh and they love my hair.

I raised two hives of honey bees when I was in high school. I used to love staring at them as they came and went from the hives.
Leaf: I think yellow jackets live in holes in the ground, like in a field. They look a little similar to honey bees, but they are a little thinner. Honey bees usually live in large holes in trees, or in a hive box made by a bee-keeper.
It is funny that this is a thread today because I was just thinking about bees today. I was hearing voices while driving. A car in front of my had a sticker of a bee on it. A voice in my head told me that bees are arthropods. I never knew that but I googled it and it is true. Is that weird or what?
