They are called octobans. They are made for fills…in other words they are like the drums but they are smaller than normal drums.

I had to Google the term octoban.
Being a moderator, I immediately thought it was when you ban someone 8 times, octo(8)–ban. 
Anyway, octobans look like cool percussion instruments.
