I hear conversations of the motor on the fridge and the computer fans.
Yeah, can do your head in - but headphones work usually.

Same I hear it if my phone is off vibrate
Im saying its more of a hallucination really - or a mis interpretation of what your hearing, paranoia obviously plays its part.

I often hear a conversation of people talking like at a coffee shop perhaps I used to hear it only when other noise was present but now I hear it as random noise present or not. I can just about make out what the people are saying but not. Always in another room though.

Over time - you can recognise the voices, and realise they are not real. Simply because they sound different like a muffled noise next door.

Don’t know, it’s called hallucinations I think.
Years ago I turned my radio off before I asleeped.
But I heard the same from another point of my room, half volume of the radio.
I was totally paralyzed, unable to look where it comes from, it stopped after 2 minutes.
And flashlights under my old bed, same, wasn’t able to look.
Don’t know, really don’t know.
Didn’t had that twice.
Do you think you are able to locate it, the sound, the direction where it seems to come from dreamlessdreamer ?
