I just got approved for a specialization in my masters!

I’m moving to the Alps in France to start my second year masters thesis working with the CEA! Once covid-19 is over the hump at least lol. I’m feeling like a bigshot rn!

Thank you guys so much for all the support youve given me at my low points in the last year and my battle with addiction. It means so much to me!

You are honestly such an inspiration! Being able to move to a bunch of different countries and start a new life is not easy for anyone, and you’ve been so successful!

Thanks everyone! Im not there yet, but this time last year I was unemployed, living in my parents’ basement, did nothing but drugs and wanted to die quietly in a hole. You guys are mainly what brought me out of it, and the friends Ive made here Ill never forget.

I just wanted to make sure yall know youre appreciated, and I wanna be here for the next person who has big dreams but this illness is holding them back

That’s wonderful @zwolfgang! Sounds like a great adventure! Do you live in Europe already?

I do! Ive been in Sweden for a year.

First time I came here from the US almost 2 years ago I had a major breakdown and ended up in the hospital, but the program allowed me to come back, and this time (despite another hospital stay) I’m doing great!

For perspective, the first year of the program is in Sweden and the second year is wherever you find an employer or institution for a masters thesis. Mine was just confirmed to be France at a nuclear research agency called the CEA in Grenoble!

Thanks @Wave

@Aziz C’est dommage, je parle français, je ne parle pas québécois! Ma grammaire est assez mauvaise en français lol

La seule difference entre le quebecois et le français c’est l’accent. On comprend les français de France. :slightly_smiling_face:
