Before I got sick, I had friends, and on Friday nights, we’d run around the neighborhood having the time of our lives. Really I’m sure it’s nothing.
I am scared they tell me they are
I don’t understand. They tell you they are what?
They said I am going to die soon
Is anyone else at home with you? What time is it where you are? Do you think you could maybe drive to a friend or family member’s house so that you don’t have to be alone?
I’m not alone, but I don’t want anything bad to happen,
Sometimes, our brains trick us into hearing things that aren’t actually said. Kind of like subconsciously switching words around. Think of it this way. If they truly said that you would die soon, how would you have heard it that clearly? Surely it would have sounded muffled or strained.
just people outside
Yes they are just people outside. Ordinary people who probably don’t even know you exist, and therefore can’t have any plans to kill you.
I have a bunch of people after me and everyday they tell others to kill me, tonight they said they were going to shoot me, I hope they give up, but thank you
I’m sorry I’m not much help. Just please let your pdoc know about all this. It was nice talking to you. I’ll probably be up for a while, so if you still need to talk then just reply and I will answer (provided I’m still awake). I’m not sure what time it is where you are. Maybe get a snack and drink and then try to sleep? Good luck @see121. You are strong, you are safe, and you are loved.
I just have to survive tonight and tomorrow.
You can do it. I have faith in you.
Thanks so much @Sardonic!
Hey. How are you feeling today?
I am going out, I’m a little nervous.
Ooh, that’s good that you’re going out! You’re doing much better than I am most days. So are you going out with friends or family? What will you guys do? Go out to eat, see a movie? I’m happy for you, this has made my day bettet. I hope you have tons of fun!
I think it’s normal to be nervous, even without sz. We all want to be accepted, and we all worry that we won’t be. Howevet, when we let go of that worry and try to make the best of the situation, more often than not we relax and allow ourselves to have fun.
Thank you so much @Sardonic, for being so caring and understanding, I am going out with friends, feel a bit better.
Glad to hear that you feel better! I hope you enjoy your night out with your friends. Take a break from thinking about all those pesky psychotic symptoms, and have a great night.
