Can you speak up about being called a hoe? A friend once told me and it hurt to hear it “If you’re going to be a doormat, you can expect to get stepped on.” Harsh words in a way, but I’ll bet your pdoc would be shocked if you told him you told off your neighbors.

also my nami group is starting up in september
i can talk irl to people who have mi and some groups are peer only and family only
maybe you can do a search at nami.org and look up your area and see if there are any there

I was called that on the street as well, when I went for groceries a random man shouted this at me. Apparently he was drunk. I walked away faster as to not get into trouble. In a episode I would have confronted the man, lucky for me I wasn’t in a phase. And I could drop the thought and moved on.
