Good Morning from Madrid. I have a cold. It started yesterday and I cancelled my clients for today. I was also normally going to go for a walk with the guy I’m dating. Sunday we should go to a concert together, so I hope I will be healthy enough for that as I don’t like infecting people.

It’s almost 05:30 am where I live. I’ve been playing video games the whole night. LoL!.
Yeah and I lost the game I played for several hours. Now I have to start all over again.

I don’t know, I’ll just rest. If it gets worse I’ll contact my doctor, since a couple of weeks I have now access to the free public health insurance in Spain.

Same old. I had my yearly appointment with my pdoc. She’s going to refer me to a shrink. But she said the waiting list is long. We’ll see. I would like to talk about my anxiety. I’m tired of always having to struggle with what comes easily to others.
So you are already dating? Is it serious? Maybe it’s not my business??

Yes. I’ve had 6 dates with this one. The previous one ended up praying the gay away. In the end his words were hurtful and made me moody for a while, but you have to move on in these things.

Some people can’t just accept reality. He’ll be suffering as long as he doesn’t accept his sexuality. You don’t want to be along until he does. It’s just pain.
How’s the weather in Spain?
Our winter was mild. Which was a bummer because I bought a lot of winter clothes which I haven’t used.

We had a lot of rain recently, but now since a couple of days the sun is back. How are your mom and aunt doing?

My mom is alright. But she keeps working a lot. I don’t understand why?? She’s going to work two more years even though she has a right to her pension. She just can’t relax and take it easy.
My aunt is stressed about her summer home. As she usually is. It’s in the middle of the woods and she hasn’t chopped down the trees surrounding the cabin. It’s her responsibility to cut down the trees but she needs to hire professionals to do it. It’s some kind of insurance thing.
How are your parents doing? Is your dad still expecting the end of the world? LoL!!!

Well. My dad said to my cousin yesterday that I will crash and will be forced to return to Belgium. My mom gets retirement benefits, still works 24/7 as well, she just enjoys it. Good to have one crappy and one good parent. Mixes it up. My sister has lost her grounding. The everyday family stuff…

My dad is also in Spain. Working! I was thinking of calling him but I don’t have much to say. We’ve drifted apart over the years. Also he doesn’t act his age. He still thinks he’s 25.

Where in Spain is he working. Dad’s can be complex for a lot of people, but I hope it is changing. The toxic masculinity has to go in the world.

@Jonathan2 good you’re resting and getting rest with this cold you have. And it’s good you don’t wanna infect people. I actually still wear my Covid mask every time I go out in public. It’s really good to hear you are doing well Besides the cold you have.

I too have a cold started 2 days ago. Hopefully it clears up by sunday as i had a rock concert i wanted to see
