It’s maddening. I guess I shouldn’t take it personally.
about 50% of the time, my computer does not come out of sleep properly, so I have to restart it 3 times with the button until the “restart computer” prompt comes up and it will restart properly. I have told others about this problem and no one has a solution to it that works.

Try the computer in safe mode. If it comes out of sleep when you have it in safe mode then it might be issue with some startup apps or drivers.

I tend to go into catastrophising mode when my laptop has a glitch.

Try unplugging the power cable from back of computer and plugging it back in

My dad’s computer did that. I think it was a Dell. It might be a defect, but it could also be a energy saving thing or a new setting. I have no clue. My computer works flawlessly.
He returned it at Costco.

yes hybernation system is broken on most and all windows Pcs
