Any techies out there?

My laptop is fully charged but I can’t get it to start. I haven’t used it in a few months but wanted to use it again. No screen. No noises. Nothing.

I’m not sure. What happens if you push the on button and hold it down for a few seconds

Yeah I’ve tried that and pushed and held other keys but nothing works.
I just don’t want to pay a fortune to get it fixed. And right now I’m broke.

Yes it is plugged in still.

I know my camera would not turn on, so I removed the battery and power cord then reinstalled it and then it worked

Can you see a tiny reset button anywhere. ?

I’ll try that out

I’ll take a closer look

You can try taking the battery out and turning it on with just the power cord in.

Known Windows hibernation issue. It goes into a hybrid sleep and then won’t wake from it until fully powered down by pulling all of the power sources including the power cell. Not a huge deal if your battery is easily removable, but for those new ultrabooks where you can’t get at the battery without opening the laptop… YUCK.

Mine is just a cheap Dell refurbished. For what I use it for I don’t need much. Just basically watch Netflix etc on it.
