I applied for food stamps figuring I would get maybe 50 bucks or something. They granted me and my son 16 dollars a month. Not much but it’s some milk and eggs or fresh fruit, It helps a little. But I called to check my balance and found out I got a 360 dollar grant from the Covid fund. I was so happy. That will really help out. If you don’t think you qualify or don’t think you would get much, now is the time to try anyway with this extra benefit out there to help us get by.

Good for you @Leaf! Lord knows the government isn’t helping out that much otherwise with covid. Glad you can get help where you can.
