I got a new instrument!

Very excited!!! My GM where I work remembered that 6 months ago I was complaining about wanting a bass guitar and today he brought me one of his old ones from his garage. Works perfect and just needs needs newer strings, I’m gonna decorate it with some stickers after I dust it off!

Great for you! I hope you learn to play it and have a lot of fun learning. It takes a lot of hard work, but just remember that it is so worth it.

Thanks Gina, I taught myself how to play electric guitar so I know learning bass will be just as fun! It’s helping me bring more song ideas to life already I plugged it in about 15 minutes ago lol

Yaaay new bass guitar! That’s pretty rad. What kind of music do you like to play?

I am okay, I was having some anxiety earlier. But I took a prn and I’m feeling better now.

don’t blow your amp playing your bass through your electric guitar amp…it will blow it out !! other than that, enjoy dude. cool.

I’m glad you’re feeling better and chilling out Montezuma, life is can be tough so it’s nice to have something to help cope.

I like to play all kinds of music rock, folk, punk, math rock, emo and now that I have a bass I want to learn funk :dark_sunglasses:

I always calm down after I take my anxiety medication. I know how that feels, @Montezuma. Inderal works on performance anxiety though.

I can play classical, jazz, traditional American, easy listening and soft rock. I’ve never tried to play anything else.

As long as you have a foundation, you can play anything.
