I guess it’s mild. I have an appointment with my doc next week and I will find out more. My new asthma inhaler probably needs to get switched to a different type of inhaler, one that works for COPD.
I don’t think the COPD is behind the coughing attacks I’m having though. I seem to have these attacks a lot in response to food. I’ve had to pretty much cut out dairy or pay. But something else, or somethings, are still triggering the coughing attacks. I suspect allergies and want to see an allergist. So I’ll ask her about that.
Also, I’m hoping she has the results of my sleep study by the time of our appointment and we can get my sleep addressed too.
My dad has always had asthma and developed copd. It’s manageable and he has a lot of meds. It’s not really a problem out here because he gets to a level and gets all meds for free. It’s something that needs to be managed with meds like asthma.
