If he’s a good guy then yeah. I know I would feel lucky if I had a girlfriend, blessed even. Finding someone to go through life with is pretty much the single greatest boon to your life you can have and these days couples are getting rarer and rarer.

I’m very grateful for my spouse. We’ve been together for more than 20 years and that is just wild. I was 16 when we got together. He has seen me before and after sz and is still with me. It feels unreal at times. I have always thought I was not loveable but I guess there’s some reason he has been with me for so long.
