Yesterday when I had the test for data entry, it was really tough. It was a new system I’d never used. And she gave me 60 pages of data to enter on to the system. I really tried but my mind wasn’t working. I was meant to flick back and forrth the pages to find the data but i had no idea where to look. Either I have become “dumber” or it really was tough and I shouldnt be too hard on myself. I probably needed training to do what they were asking.

You went in without preparation. I hope you learned something in the process and next time you’ll be able to perform better. Are there other jobs you’re interested in?

I had no idea what was going to be expected of me. I knew it was data entry, but I thought it would be on excel but it was their own software which I’ve never used before.

It is tough because I keep getting calls from agencies but the roles are full-time. I am sticking to part time no matter what. Full time isn’t good for my health.

That’s normal cos we have to take a lot into consideration. Just take your time. It’s okay. There’s no point in trying to rush, which I don’t think you are so that’s good
