Sooo… I’m already getting gifts together for my step son and baby human :stuck_out_tongue_closed_eyes:

Anybody else do Christmas shopping this early??

Last year I started in October I think. So not quite this early, no. I don’t plan on getting quite as much this year either. I got a bit obsessed last year.

One thing I would note. For me personally, the earlier I get started, the more I end up spending. I buy some things I think people might want. Then, at some later date, I think of more things that might be good gifts and buy them as well.

I think , for me at least, starting a bit later might be a good idea. I will end up spending less money in the long run. Don’t know if this applies to you. Maybe you are better at restraint for gift buying than me. I just went wild last year.

Very good idea….. I’m only getting stuff for baby human and step son this year… maybe my nephew too.

I think I have the same issue too… I think of more stuff to get them later even if I had already got them stuff

I haven’t started yet, but maybe I should. :open_mouth: I hate when I wait until late November or December, and then I’m stressing out. It’s nice to get it done early! You’re smart! :smile:

Surprisingly i dont mind crowds at amusement parks or concerts. But the idea of shopping puts me in an instant coma :joy:

I’ve been doing a little Xmas shopping… it’s easier for me to start early and do a little at a time. This helps me afford gifts throughout the year and be able to use a debit card or cash. I refuse to use my credit card except for emergencies cuz I know how easy it is to go over budget when using a credit card. So far this year I bought my mom a musk ox picture and I ordered a beef jerky/meat stick variety pack for my dad, and today I asked my best friends what they would like for Xmas. I also HATE shopping in brick-and-mortar stores around that time of year…
