I dunno what the Zoloft is doing other than

Making me sleep a lot which is good. And I’ve been sober for a week now which is something I’d never do. Don’t tell me “Zoloft made me drink” because everybody’s different! But a week of sobriety. I’ve only done that 1 time in the past 10 months… up until today. At least there’s no side effects other than the extra sleep. But extra sleep could be a good thing for me. I have a little boost in mood but that could be placebo and or the raise in abilify. I’m still pretty depressed often. It’s not 24/7 but it’s throughout each day.

congratulations! I’m proud of you.

I say sleep if you are tired. Depression is an illness and I think we need more sleep when we are sick. I try not to beat myself up for sleeping, but I always keep track and tell my pdoc.

I think an important thing Zoloft did for me was it took away my hypersensitivity to stimuli. I could be out in public and hear loud sounds or be in crowds and not become furiously angry or upset. I just felt calm. It also took away my constant violent intrusive thoughts. I really hope Wellbutrin will do the same for me. I wish I could’ve stayed on zoloft, it worked so well for me but it was impossible for me to stay on w the side effects I was getting.
